Hero Armor Upgrade (then Downgrade?) - Guild Wars Forums

I'd like to upgrade the armor of my heroes for display in my hall of monuments, but I prefer the look of my heroes in their current armor. If I upgrade, can I still display my heroes in their original armor when I adventure?

Yes. The armorer gives you the option for the default armor.

If you are meaning the statue of each Hero, then yes. The statue depicts the original armor, whether you have different armor for them or not. You can't get a statue of them in Brotherhood, Primeval, Deldrimor, etc etc. The statue only has them in their original armor.

As for adventuring, then yes. Just set your heroes for the old armor. You can change it out whenever you want.
